Miramar City Hall Hasn't Been The Same Since "The Greek Grill" Arrived

The Greek Grill is a new Mediterranean restaurant in Miramar, Florida. It’s hidden at the Miramar Civic Hall plaza and it makes me feel more like a detective than a foodie for finding it. The Greek Grill has its roots in New York and Washington D.C., and currently continues to serve food to the residents of both metropolitan areas. They’ve proven themselves to be a Greek authority up North and now they have spread their wings to the sunshine state. On behalf of the City of Miramar, I would like to thank The Greek Grill for becoming a part of the South Florida food scene.

My husband knows that I am a foodie at heart. Good food can turn a bad day into a good one, and bad food can ruin my week. So, when my husband and I decided to stay in and have a movie night, he suggested ordering some Greek food from The Greek Grill. I’ll admit it. I was surprised. I was surprised that my husband knew about a restaurant that hadn’t crossed my radar. I ordered the shrimp kabobs and he ordered the lamb chops. The staff is extremely friendly, and helped us in making our choices. My husband picked up the food and was back home quickly. It was refreshing to know that we had access to healthy food quickly.

I took a few bites as he stared at me, waiting to see my reaction. As much as I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction I had to admit again that he was right. The food was absolutely amazing. The shrimp was big and succulent, and the rice was so tasty! I couldn’t help myself, I had to taste one of his lamb chops. The lamp chops did not disappoint at all. They were seasoned well and melted in my mouth with each bite. The Greek Grill had become our usual take-out restaurant for dinner. The food is fresh and tasty, and it made us feel like we were make a healthy decision.

Mother’s Day was around the corner, so I had to share this hidden secret with my family and friends. Impressing my mother, the cook of the family, with a catered dinner could easily go wrong but I knew that The Greek Grill could handle the task. For Mother’s Day, we ordered chicken kabobs, shrimp kabobs, lamb chops, sea bass, pita bread/hummus, and Greek salad. It was such a nice change from the usual Jamaican food that we eat at family events. The food was a big hit! I was very pleased because The Greek Grill gave us so much food at a great price! Everyone enjoyed their Greek experience and the food became a topic of conversation.

Would I recommend it: Absolutely! The food is delicious, the staff is hospitable, and the food is priced right. I'm actually eating some take-out from The Greek Grill as I write this review!
