Christina Moore: The Carribean Caterer that will bring color and flavor to your palate


Christina Moore is a chef from Connecticut that has graced the state of Florida with her own spin on catering. She has created a palate of colors and spices, and people across Broward County are really enjoying it! She is a mother and wife, and like most of us she enjoys a good meal. She graduated from Johnson and Wales University's culinary program (North Miami Beach Campus) and she also received her bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. Chef Moore has paid her dues at several restaurants, and she has even worked with the renowned Chef Emeril for three years at his restaurant in South Beach.

I met Chef Moore at a community event in Miramar, FL. The mayor of Miramar, Mayor Wayne Messam, promoted an event to encourage healthy living. Chef Moore had a stand of Caribbean inspired healthy food options. As a person of Caribbean decent, I can assure you that it is difficult to make Caribbean food healthy, but Chef Moore has managed to make it lean, colorful, and tasty.



I have had a few of Chef Moore's dishes. I love that she offers a unique menu, she plays with the natural hues of food, and blends both sweet and spicy together to create a party in my mouth. Her chicken burger is amazing! It comes with a grilled pineaapple, chipotle mayo, and mango ketchup. It is so juicy! Her"Tequilla Glazed Vegan Tofu Skewers" are really good too. I have a foodie confession to make. Chef Moore's tofu entree was my first tofu meal and I loved it! It was light, well-seasoned, and complimented the grilled vegetables nicely. My husband didn't believe that I never ate tofu before, but I come from a family of carnivores (with thee exception of my father) and tofu was never on the menu.


Chef Moore is very flexible and can alter her menu to fit most cuisines and dietary restrictions. She also makes holiday edible gifts to spread some love through a sweet treat during the holiday season.

I really enjoyed meeting Chef Christina Moore and eating her delicious entrees. I am honored that she is a part of the Florida culinary scene and I can't wait to see the path that she paves. She embodies a woman that has followed her dreams and made it fit her unique style.
