Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek: I Welcome This Mistake!
Here’s another Orlando favorite! The Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is another hotel on the top of my list in Orlando. The location is centrally located near all of the Disney parks, it shares its property with the Waldorf Astoria Orlando hotel, and it lies right beside some of the most highly rated restaurants in Orlando. One being “Bull and Bear” at the Waldorf Astoria and the other is “Deep Blu Seafood Grille,” at the Wyndam resort adjacent to the property (blog of the “Deep Blu Seafood Grille” coming soon).
Quality: I really enjoy staying at the Hilton Bonnet Creek. Most of us are familiar with the Hilton brand and they usually offer great service and accommodations. The lobby is very open and spacious and it leads to the two towers of rooms, restaurants/lounges, and the beautifully landscaped outdoor premises. Due to the location, this hotel is a little busier than the JW Marriott Orlando described on our website. It seems to host the guests from big events in town. So, don’t be surprised if you see large youth cheerleading, gymnastics, or other sports related teams in the lobby.
Service: The front desk staff is very friendly and do a great job of making your check-in process a breeze.
Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean. The cleaning staff is prompt and the premises are always very nice.
Price: This hotel is always priced very well. Over the years, this is the most economical hotel that I can find that offers the high standard that I am looking for in Orlando. I sometimes question the price because it so low. I live in South Florida, so I could never stay in a hotel of this quality at the prices offered. However, most hotels in Orlando are priced fairly well.
Experience: My experiences at this hotel are always enjoyable. I actually found out about this hotel by accident. I meant to book the other Hilton hotel, near International Drive and accidentally booked this resort. Initially, I was upset because I went to the wrong location. The front desk attendant at the Hilton on I-Drive reassured me that I would enjoy this hotel just as much, if not more….and boy was he right! I have not gone back to the Hilton in the I-Drive area since the mix-up. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. However, as you can imagine, the Hilton hotel near I-Drive had a lot of casual dining restaurants and things to do within walking distance. So, you’ll have to pick your preference. I honestly believe that you’ll be satisfied at both hotels.
Tips: The parking at this hotel is not as convenient as other hotels. You have to walk to the parking garage. Although, it is not far, you can’t just walk out of the hotel and jump in your car. You may want to valet your car if it’s in your budget. My husband and I usually use the parking garage and enjoy the walk through the first floor, and go outside at the last door before you reach the parking gararge. Do not go through the main entrance because you'll have to walk in the heat.
For dinner, we usually walk to the hotels in the area, or stay at this hotel to enjoy a nice meal. I’m not that crazy about one of the restaurants in the hotel called, “La Luce." It’s a highly rated Italian restaurant on Tripadvisor, but I wasn’t impressed with the salmon and my husband didn’t enjoy his steak. The food was mediocre at best. Maybe, we should of tried a more traditional Italian meal. However, the management is very nice and engages you with a personal touch throughout the night (Specific blog of “La Luce” coming soon).
Would I recommend it: Absolutely! The price is great and the accommodations are high in quality. Enjoy!
