Sawgrass Mills Mall: It's a beast
I can remember when Sawgrass Mills Mall opened for the first time in the early 1990s. It was all over the news! It was the biggest thing that hit our area at the time. The largest outlet mall in the country! I was in elementary school and my mother and I tried to conquer this new mall on the first day that it opened. We made it through about ¾ of the mall and realized that we had taken on a beast.
Quality: The Sawgrass Mills Mall has a list of quality stores and they have even opened an outdoor high-end area called the Colanades.
Cleanliness: The mall is typically very clean with the exception of your usual mall traffic. The bathrooms could be maintained a little bit better. However, they do a pretty decent job of keeping the mall clean and up-to-date.
Service: The service at this mall cannot be ranked because there are hundreds of different vendors.
Price: My favorite stores at the Sawgrass Mills Mall are J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Nine West, and the Nike Store. I note a tremendous difference in the price at the Sawgrass Mills Mall and other malls.
Experience: I really enjoy shopping at the Sawgrass Mills Mall. It can be a little overwhelming on a Saturday because it can be difficult finding parking and there is a lot of walking traffic inside. However, they are in the process of adding parking garages. It would be nice to park and run in, instead of having to circle around for parking. I would actually eat lunch there, if parking were more accessible.
Overall, the Sawgrass Mills Mall has been a great asset to the community. It has provided hundreds of jobs, created a safe place for teenagers to hang out on the weekends, and left us with a lifetime of memories.
Would I recommend it? Yes! It’s a great mall! Once you get your bearings and know where your stores of interest are, you can whiz in and out! Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or comments about this mall.
