Spoleto: Build Your Own Dinner
The food court at the Florida Mall in Orlando is delightfuly overwhelming because there are so many great food choices for a quick bite or a nice lunch. I've been to so many food courts that only offer the traditional Sbarro Italian food, japanese hibashi, and the usual fast food restaurants. My husband and I walked through the food court and stopped at “Spoleto.” It’s technically not a food court stand or kiosk because you can actually dine inside the restaurant. It just happens to be located at the food court.
The concept here is that you can build your own pasta. I was really excited to see this because while it is very common on cruise ships and resorts, it is not common to see a build - your - own - pasta restaurant locally.
If you’re not interested in pasta, the restaurant offers a wide variety of other options. Also, if you are intimidated by what you may build, the restaurant has some preset past options. The ingredients are fresh, the service is amazing, and the food is very tasty! There are also gluten free options to choose from. They have really thought of everything!
Extra information: The restatuant is right by the food court entrance! So, you don't even have to be in the mall to dine at this restaurant.
Would I recommend it: Yes, the quality is above food court standards. I think that this could easily be a stand alone restaurant.
